Roadmap

Last updated: 28 October 2026. "Founder" = Karan must do it (accounts, payments, legal, sign-ins). "Team" = Claude does it. "Together" = you decide, I build.

Status today: token live on Base (20M FRNT, fixed), lock-ups on-chain, treasury Safe, website + blog + admin dashboard + rewards program live, contribution page built but switched off. Nothing has been sold and no money has been taken.

Phase 1 — Finish the project (next 2 to 6 weeks)

A. Legal foundation — DEFERRED by Karan on 28 Oct 2026 until FRNT has real market value.

(Kept here for the record. Until then: contributions stay switched off, no token promotion as an investment, and the founder is not paid from project funds.)

1. Founder — Hire a NZ lawyer who handles fintech/crypto. Ask: which of these can we do from NZ: (a) accept donations, (b) equity crowdfunding, (c) sell FRNT publicly with identity checks (KYC). Send them /support, /#allocation, /#notice and /investors.
2. Founder — Set up the legal entity the lawyer recommends (NZ limited company, charitable trust, or foundation). Open its bank account. This is where fiat money will land.
3. Team — DONE 28 Oct 2026 (drafts at /terms and /privacy; lawyer to review). Rewrite the site notice, support page and allocation wording to match the lawyer's answer. Add terms of use and privacy policy pages.
4. Team — Switch contributions ON once 1 to 3 are done.
5. Founder — Decide how fiat (NZD/USD by card or bank) is accepted: Stripe or a crypto on-ramp (MoonPay, Transak). Team — integrate it so people without crypto can contribute.

B. Community channels

6. Founder — Create X account (@thefrontierspace or similar), Telegram group, Discord server, YouTube channel. Use support@thefrontier.space. Send me every link.
7. Team — Add links to the site, pin the rewards program in each channel, write the welcome posts and channel rules.
8. Team — Autopost each new blog post to X and Telegram (needs API keys from the accounts you create; I will set them up once you have signed in).

C. Kickstarter

9. Founder — Create the Kickstarter account and link the entity's bank account.
10. Together — Pick the deliverable (recommended: published prospecting study of a real near-Earth asteroid, backers named inside). Team — finish campaign page, tiers, budget, video script. Founder — record a 60-second founder video.
11. Founder — Submit for Kickstarter review and launch when I say the page is ready.

D. Security and housekeeping

12. Founder — Write the deployer recovery phrase on paper, store it offline. Consider a hardware wallet for your Safe signer key.
13. Team — Finish Railway config switch-over before 1 December 2026.
14. Team — Fix the www.thefrontier.space certificate (scheduled retry 29 October).
15. Team — DONE 28 Oct 2026 (Mondays). Weekly backup of /data (contributions, claims, analytics) to the repo folder.
16. Founder — Etherscan/Basescan account so I can submit the token logo and info there.

E. Credibility content

17. Team — DONE 28 Oct 2026 (/research). Publish the first research brief (asteroid target shortlist with sources) as the project's first real "mission work" output.
18. Team — DONE 28 Oct 2026 (/roadmap). Add a public roadmap page (this document, kept current) and a monthly "state of Frontier" post with numbers.
19. Founder — Reach out to one university space group or NZ space company for a first advisor conversation. Team — draft the email.

Phase 1 is complete when: contributions are open legally, channels exist, Kickstarter is live, first research output is published.

Phase 2 — Liquidity and the first money (after Phase 1)

20. Founder and team — (Team part DONE 28 Oct 2026: docs/liquidity/ has the plan, Safe transaction files and lock steps; Founder: fund the Safe with ETH and sign after legal sign-off.) Create the FRNT/ETH pool on Aerodrome or Uniswap on Base using the 5% liquidity allocation plus ETH from the treasury. Needs both Safe signatures. Lock the LP tokens (I set up the lock) so nobody can pull liquidity.
21. Team — Submit FRNT to CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap (needs a live pool first), then DexScreener/DexTools profile, token logo on Basescan.
22. Team — Buy/sell appear automatically in the admin dashboard once the pool exists.
23. Together — First community distribution rules: proposal DONE 28 Oct 2026 (docs/community/points-to-frnt.md); Karan to approve.
24. Founder — Open conversations with the first 3 to 5 investors using /investors (reached when the $1M milestone shows real progress). Team — DONE 28 Oct 2026: data room index, pitch deck, financial model, investor FAQ (docs/investors/).

Phase 3 — Marketing the coin

25. Team — Content engine: 2 SEO posts/day (running), monthly "State of Frontier" report (scheduled, 1st of each month, DONE 28 Oct 2026), newsletter list built into the site with CSV export (DONE 28 Oct 2026; sending needs an email service: Founder).
26. Team — DONE 28 Oct 2026 (docs/marketing/launch-plan.md, first 3 threads written). Launch campaign plan: thread series, AMA schedule, partnerships with space YouTubers/podcasts (I draft outreach, Founder send from your accounts).
27. Together — Paid ads only after a lawyer says token promotion is allowed in each market.
28. Team — DONE 28 Oct 2026. Referral tracking on the site (who brought whom) feeding the rewards program.
29. Team — DONE 28 Oct 2026 (/press; media list internal). Press kit page and a list of 50 space/crypto journalists with draft pitches.

Phase 4 — Revenue and the project fund

30. Together — Decide the treasury policy: what % of incoming funds stays in ETH/USDC vs NZD, what is spent per quarter, published on the ledger. Team — write and publish.
31. Team — DONE 28 Oct 2026 (/treasury). Public treasury page that reads the Safe balances live.
32. Founder — Exchange listings (requirements researched 28 Oct 2026: docs/exchange-listings.md) (Coinbase, Kraken, Binance applications require the legal entity, KYC on you, and listing fees). Team — prepare every application.
33. Team — Grant applications (drafts 28 Oct 2026: docs/grants/; Emergent Ventures must be in Karan's own words): NASA/ESA open calls, NZ Space Agency, Callaghan Innovation. I draft, Founder sign.

Phase 5 — Frontier chain (own blockchain)

Start when: 10,000+ holders or $1M+ raised, and a team of at least 2 engineers. 34. Team — DONE 28 Oct 2026 (/frontier-chain, draft v0.1). Technical design: OP Stack (Base-compatible) rollup, FRNT as gas token, sequencer plan, bridge from Base. Published for review. 35. Team — Testnet launch with a public explorer and faucet. (Code scaffold DONE 28 Oct 2026 in chain/; launching the testnet needs an engineer, a funded deployer and the bridge design.) 36. Founder — Hire or contract 2 engineers and a security auditor (budget from treasury). 37. Together — Audit, mainnet launch, migrate FRNT via bridge, community vote on timing.

Phase 6 — Investors and institutions

38. At $1M: investor conversations (item 24). At $10M: government and agency dialogue, 1% donation pledge activates with video proof (Team builds the proof page).
39. Team — DONE 28 Oct 2026: quarterly update template and private investor portal at /portal (Google sign-in; access list = Railway env INVESTOR_EMAILS plus the owners).
40. Founder — Advisory board: 3 to 5 named scientists/engineers. Team — asks drafted 28 Oct 2026 (docs/outreach/advisory-board-asks.md).

Added beyond the original list (28 Oct 2026)

• Site in 10 languages (/es /hi /zh /ja /pt /fr /de /id /ar), open data API page (/api), built-in newsletter, Lighthouse 94/100/100/100, new favicon and social card, investor portal, Research Briefs 02 and 03 (water extraction, launch costs).

Automation running

Daily operator task (10:08 AM NZ) builds the next Team item and logs to docs/log/. Blog writer 9 AM / 9 PM. Monthly report on the 1st. Weekly backup Mondays. All run while the Claude app is open on Karan's Mac.

Token, lock-ups, Safe, website, domain, blog + writer agent, admin dashboard with Google sign-in, analytics, Search Console, investor brief, allocation page, contribution page (off), rewards program, logo, token list, security hardening.
